Here are a few tips to heal the emotions;

Remember to be consist:

1.   Practice Meditation/Visualization techniques.

2.   Exercise daily

3.   Find a quiet secluded place when you are surrounded with noise, smoke and crowds of people.

4.   When confronted with the stress of loneliness call a friend for a chat or have a conversation with a colleague or co-worker to discuss or develop an idea or create a solution for a problem you have been working on.

5.   Develop close personal supportive relationships.  If you do not know to do this or are frightened at the idea of giving up your independence consider discussing this as part of your professional counseling.

6.   Take 3-minute mini-breaks throughout your workday. If you can find a place to lie down, raise your feet above your head, this can be very relaxing.

7.   Listen to quiet soothing music through a portable Walkman cassette player.

8.   Take a short walk.

9.   Take a fifteen-minute nap.

10.   Do deep breathing and relaxation exercises.

11.   Take classes on time management.

12.   Learn self-massage or acupressure.
